Beautiful day for some mountain biking. We set out for a ride to Kingaroy 65km round trip. It started on a sealed surface and after 9km it was a good quality dirt road. It was a very undulating ride that was beyond my capabilities. In total I managed about 23 kms and a disgraceful dismount. No damage this time just a bruised thigh.
Yvonne and I left the others and came back to camp. We did a 4.8km walk around town exploring the shops. After hearing about riding up a Monster mountain and down it at 65kms an hr I'm glad I didn't go any further.
Lots of murals and chainsaw carvings around town.
We found a bakery and 2 op shops so we were happy.
